A type specimen booklet for Franklin Gothic, invented by Fuller Morris Benton in 1902. The type was issued by American Type Founders (ATF) where Benton was the chief typeface designer and head of the design department. This recreation of a type specimen for Franklin Gothic type
consisted of remaking a traditional booklet that perceived and appeared classical to the original version. The colors, the page layout and paper choice carefully mirrors the same elements found in a type
specimen booklet for Franklin Gothic in the early 1900s. I included my own
product photography to exhibit the details and elegance of the type.
